Susan Ryman-Kiernan

Sue has over 35 years’ conference, incentive travel and event management experience – planning and organising events all over the world. Her career started in the UK and in 1996 she relocated to Melbourne. In 1998 she established Wise Connections as a boutique provider of conference management, event management and incentive travel services. Sue has delivered conferences, travel incentives and corporate events in over 30 countries including Australasia, Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, the Americas and the Caribbean.

Sue has led the growth of Wise Connections from a startup business to an award-winning team of13 event production and management professionals.

Sue has been actively involved with the national industry association since 1999 and sat on the MEA Board of Directors from 2010 - 2018. She is a strong advocate of professionalism and professional development within the Meetings and Events Industry and has taught Project Management to Diploma of Events and Post-Graduate Diploma of Events students.
